This work is part of an early Cindy Sherman-type series that I made in 2006.
The inspiration for this photograph and the following two images came from Cindy Sherman's "Untitled Film Stills" series in the late '70s. For a school project, I chose a number of different "documentary" scenarios of young American girls. Like Sherman, I intended on portraying and exaggerating a certain stereotype, and had to overcome certain technical obstacles.
